Soundtrack of Black Widower

Music is a very important element in the Black Widower universe, especially in the Nocturne, where a lot of the scenes take place. Music is also a very important element in the creation of the stories, as I do a lot of the writing to music and the music I choose often sets the mood of the stories. Unlike a lot of other things I've made up, the songs and music mentioned in the Black Widower stories are real, with the only fabrication of mine being the “ocip” or Old Country Punk genre which was actually inspired by the Greek techno dance music mixes I listen to.

Greek music has been a love of mine since I was a kid, when my mother would play the music of Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hajidakis on the stereo. Cajun music became another love of mine when I was an adult, along with the “Old Country” folk music I listened to and grew up with.

Other music that has served as inspiration to me is dance music of any kind and gothy, spooky type music.

And now, I bring you the Soundtrack of Black Widower. If a particular song inspired a story or was played a lot while I was writing a specific story, it's been noted.
